The wonderful Annie Marleau whose music has been described as "unique indie pop material with a strong adult contemporary influence". Her songs have passion, power and range and her lyrics are intelligent with deep meaningful messages. She has a natural talent for creating songs with catchy melodies and memorable hooks that linger in your mind long after you've heard them. Her engaging voice immediately draws in her listeners and her hauntingly sensual vocal delivery is versatile enough to cut through a pounding guitar riff or float over a quiet ballad. Distinctive influences of singer/songwriters Jann Arden, Sarah McLachlan and Sheryl Crow can be heard in her style, but make no mistake she is clearly paving her own road.
